Here is a partial list of gardens you may wish to visit in Canada during your travels to Canadian provinces and territories. (All lists are under development.) During Canada’s 150th Anniversary celebration in 2017, Canadian Garden Council developed a map titled Canada’s Garden Route that features and pinpoints the location of many of Canada’s favourite gardens, some of which are included here.

The public gardens at Horticulture Centre of the Pacific (HCP) were opened in 1979.     Located 12 kilometres north of Victoria, BC, the HCP is the home of the Pacific Horticulture College. Its features include Canada’s largest outdoor Bonsai Garden and a Children’s Garden. A non-profit garden, the HCP is maintained by staff, students, and community volunteers.
